ABOUT US

For over the 4 past years, the brothers of Beta Theta Pi and Phi Delta Theta have faced off against each other in a friendly hockey game to raise awareness for mental health within the student community. As a result, Drop the Puck for Mental Health has raised over $135,000 for the Vancouver-Fraser division of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). The CMHA facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness. While mental health continues to be an issue on university campuses around the world, we aim to bring the issue to light and do our part in ending the stigma surrounding it. Our annual hockey game provides an opportunity to come together as a community and raise awareness about the available mental health resources. We encourage anybody dealing with their mental health to reach out if they need help.Drop the Puck for Mental Health is a registered non-profit with BC Societies.
